Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished professor of psychology since 1993 and director for the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who starting the modern scientific study of children's witness memory as well as child victimes as witness in court circumstances. Her publications are numerous She has also received a number of grants and has been the recipient of many awards at the national level and international. She has worked with a variety of governments and organizations across the world on studies and policy issues pertaining to children who are victims of the legal system. Additionally, she provides consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society as well as the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
